It was a hot summer day and a crow was very thirsty. He flew around the forest in search of water. But, since it has not rained fo many days, the rivers and the ponds had dried away. So, he could not find any water.He, then, flew to a village near to the forest. To his surprise, he saw a pot of water, in the back of a house. There was some water in the pot.
The crow flew down and put mouth inside the pot to drink water. But, the water was too low for his beak to reach.
The crow was looking for an idea to bring the water up the pot. Soon, he saw some pebbles lying around near the house.
The clever crow picked the pebbles one by one and dropped them in the pot. Soon, he could see the water rising up in the pot. He seemed happy that the idea worked.
After some time, as he put more pebbles, the water had risen up and come to the top of the pot.
The thirsty crow could drink the water to his fullest. Thus, the crow could over the difficuly by using his brain,

Hard work and Intelligence are your best friends.
